Having found huge success on the iOS platform over the last few years Burbn have decided it is time to launch a version for Android owners. According to the CEO the Android app is going to be even better than the iOS version - we will reserve judgement until it actually arrives. Instagram is basically a photo sharing application that also allows you to add Hipstamatic filters to your snaps, then share them with others. There are already similar apps on the Android platform, Lightbox Photos for example, so it remains to be seen if Instagram can have the same success it has seen on iOS.
