Hi guys and girls i am sick of waiting on Motorola to bring UK users ICS & i have decided to Root my Xoom (haven't told the GF yet :-) I have been a window user for years but a few months ago i took the leap and put Linux mint on and I have never looked back. I have Googled all day how to root the Xoom with Linux and i cant find anything is this possible and is there step by step guides. my Xoom is only 4 months old i dont want to mess it up or put a hammer threw it for insurance purposes  :-)

The modaco xoom forums are dead, go look over at xda, i've rooted mine although i used windows but i'm pretty sure you can use linux, don't worry about messing it up, it's pretty hard to unless you don't know what you're doing, i rooted mine the day it came
