newbie, just joined. have an old moto q9m and was wondering about the fix for the gps problem with this phone. don't need a data plan to pay verizon b/c only use phone for talk/text. but had a real emergency other day and needed the gps/maps. thought i could install google maps to use but when gps wouldnt work (maps showed san francisco, i live in so. cal. so knew gps was not working) i ran across this forum and saw years ago the problems with the agps vs gps on these phones. was a fix ever established? if so could someone send the link to it? thanks
