2 problems on my Vega with Corvus 5

I have 2 present problems on my Advent Vega with corvus 5 ROM. Number1 sometimes when turning on my Vega the touchscreen is unresponsive which mean I have to long press on the power button to shut down but then nearly always as I start it up again then the Touch-Screen works. sometimes i notice this if the vega is cold! -

Number2 problem is if I am writing to Facebook or Twitter the onscreen qwerty keyboard comes up as normal but as I go to type it makes the keyboard disappear of the screen after just typing one letter. Sometimes as a workaround I long press in the box and input method comes up and i select android keyboard again. anyone else having these problems?
