[Smiff2]

doesn’t seem to work with AtomicMod, maybe that ROM does something odd?

This is the original pictures.
I used the command line from Sebastian404 to make the boot-screen, so I suppose that they are optimized.

If you wish to make your own, you need a 480x800 PNG file and ffmpeg, like so:

ffmpeg -i logo.png -f rawvideo -pix_fmt rgb565 oem_logo.mbn

then you simply need to replace the oem_logo.mbn in one of the update files and flash it

I have tried several times to get back the ANIMATED Huawi Ascend splas screen....but you file, at the bootim is not ANIMATED....just shows Huawei Ascend with no animation, can you help?

Ok I confused I am on B934.  I can roll my own splash screens (thanx 4 this thread) but can't figure boot animation, can't find bootanimation.zip and no room on rom for me to dump one in /sustem/media...  What am I missing (except brains)?

running b936 and tried the "hwu8815_splash_stock-update-signed.zip" aborts install, signature verification failed. what to do? cheers

downloaded rom manager and said fix permissions, no different, but is there a problem in leaving it with permissions fixed?
