- A flashy rainbow ICS Logo based
hwu8815_splash_rainbow-update-signed.zip 439.93K
28 downloads
- One based on the image by jennduong

Did you optimized the images? Almost 500K every image, that's... HUGE!

I used the command line from Sebastian404 to make the boot-screen, so I suppose that they are optimized.

If you wish to change your Splash screen to something else here are some alternatives, these are in the form of an update zip file that need to be flashed with Clockwork Mod Recovery
Stock Splash Screen: (preview)
hwu8815_splash_stock-update-signed.zip MD5 : 8632a181b8d77d5e9ce0254ceaa62a72
Standard Android: (preview)
hwu8815_splash_bugdroid-update-signed.zip MD5 : 77e2608c8b3efad4590672a151723942
Huawei Ascend (as seen in the boot animation) (preview)
hwu8815_splash_huaweiascend-update-signed.zip MD5 : 62362f364b2aee07c685632f72a2f94e
If you wish to make your own, you need a 480x800 PNG file and ffmpeg, like so:
ffmpeg -i logo.png -f rawvideo -pix_fmt rgb565 oem_logo.mbnthen you simply need to replace the oem_logo.mbn in one of the update files and flash it
I have tried several times to get back the ANIMATED Huawi Ascend splas screen....but you file, at the bootim is not ANIMATED....just shows Huawei Ascend with no animation, can you help?

I've been reading this thread all day long...
Please correct me on these conclusions I've made so far:
- It runs better/smoother than B934
- Battery usage is the same if not better
- Has no Vodafone Bloatware/Software on it (?!)
- The boot logo is Vodafone
- Has more available ram.
- Video recording is still down to 640x480 on B936?
Thanks everyone!
