One X with 1.28 - widget problems

Since 1.28 I've found that widgets stop updating after a while, other than HTCs own. I get the same with Fancy Widgets, Beautiful Widgets, HD Widgets, even the stock Latitude one. The only exceptions are those that have a notification going like Widgetsoid (though strangely having a weather notification going isn't enough for Fancy or Beautiful widgets).

A full reboot fixes it for a while, but then for no apparent reason they'll stop updating.

Anybody else seeing this?

Funnily enough the Facebook widget (Facebook's one, not HTC) doesn't seem to update properly on my Sensation either...

It's almost everything non-HTC for me. DoubleTwist, Spotify, PowerControl Plus, everything except HTC's own stops updating on screen. Most of them also stop responding, though the Google Latitude and Widgetsoid widgets still function, even if they don't update on screen.

So far today it's been fine. The only difference being that I haven't used Firefox today - I've stayed with the stock browser.

I have the same problem with my HTC One X. All the third part widgets stop updating on my phone. I have to reboot it to fix this problem.. but it works just for a while.

I am with 1.28.707.10 version.

I found you can fix it by restarting Sense (which you can do by ticking *Don't keep activities* in the Developer menu, exiting the menu and then un-ticking it). However switching to Apex Launcher has resolved the problem completely for me.

I haven't reported the fault to HTC though.
