hi all,

got this new phone as an upgrade and haviing read the unlocking thread i thought id check wheether it was locked or not before purchasing the unlock from the the ubiquitous "specialized".

anyway having put an t-mobile sim card in i can make calls from the unit, although my data connection aint working.

the Settings>About phone>status>Mobile Network State says "disconnected", but with a vodafone sim in there the data is working, infact its asking to update the vodafone bloatware.

any ideas how i can get the data working

Hi there

I had the exact same problem with mine. Just followed the advice of a helpful soul on here and it did the trick:

You'll need to add T-Mobile's APN settings:
http://support.t-mob...FTWAREDOWNLOADS

With no working data connection, the APN settings will always be the first place to look.
