Guest Frankish Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 I get this sometimes twice a day and it happened on my Monte Carlo too. It's an error message in notification bar about google sign in and to get it to sign in you have to answer one of them stupid captcha things. Any ideas?
Guest FlatPackPete Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 looks like you have (or rather google has) turned on 2 step verification on your account, this means there a particular app that google is refusing to sync with. If you go into Settings > Account and Sync Settings,turn off Auto-sync and then click on your account in the manage accounts part you can manually sync your contacts, gmail calendar etc. Try each one and see what fails, then go here http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1173270 and read up what you have to do to re-authorise that app. Good luck mate :)
Guest Frankish Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 Stupid Picasa Web sync it is. Thanks for that mate. Disabled it for now and will probably remove the apk. As far as I am aware its not used for anything?!
