This is what this CWM flash file will do. It will completely remove the Acer Lockscreen with all its widgets but will let you keep using the Acer bubble notifications. However, it broke my widgets: all widgets are replaced by white squares saying "problem loading widget". I'm using GOLauncher and the A2SDX version of the performance rom. Back when I used gingerounay-rom for a while this also happened after every restart. Ah after restarting a few times it seems that only the first time my widgets were broken. I think the script below to update build.prop is incorrect.
