How can i flash recovery?

Well, i've unlocked my bootloader via htcdev.com and i succeded...Now i'm looking a way to flash a custom ROM and i know i need a modded recovery for Ex. CWM...i've followed some guides and when i go to cmd.exe typing "fastboot flash recovery" i got an error say "failed to find something like windowsapi......dll" o.O what i have to do?D:
