Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to use the G300 to setup a personal Wi-Fi hotspot in Infrastructure mode, not Ad-hoc, using something like FoxFi or android-wifi-tether (needs root)? Many devices, like Nintendo 3DS or Kindle, won't connect to Adhoc Wi-Fi.

Native wifi tethering works perfectly.

Thanks Daniel. Can I just double-check that you mean that the G300 can generate an infrastructure hotspot, not an adhoc one?

Yes correct infrastructure mode works fine

I was trying to figure out for ages a few months back, how to connect my 3DS to my phones internet. No app worked for me...then i tried the built in tethering like suggested and it works perfect
