I have a problem though. for some reason when I try to port a CM7 based ROM (Using Method A) it just constantly downloads the base ROM over and over again and gives an error but the error flashes off too quickly for me to get a chance to read it. So I have to use Method B but whenever I use that method the ported ROMs fail to install due to a problem that apparently has something to do with the build.prop (Going by what CWM says in the error message).

Any ideas?

I also have this with CM7 on Ubuntu. Haven't tried stock/CM9 yet.

Stock & CM9 Ports work fine for me. For CM7 I have to use method B and then replace a few words to 'blade2' in the updater-script file.
