I'll just leave this here:

huawei u8350 overclocked kernel

now it work at 768mhz

2012.05.21-21.39.00.jpeg

instruction:

fastboot boot u8350_768_boot.img

(this for boot in new kernel without flash it, after reboot your device will boot in old original kernel)

OR

fastboot flash boot u8350_768_boot.img

(it is for flash new kernel)

dont forget make backup before do anything

Does the overclock allow you to run Flash or other apps otherwise impossible with the stock 600Mhz ?

Thanks

this device processor can work with flash, but due to architectural features adobe did not want to support flash OFFICIALLY for processors armv6.

Yet with the help of google you can find special informal version of "flash" that will work on this phone. (google for "armv6 flash")

overclocking only speed up the processor and does not affect the availability of certain programs.

what work - will be work faster, and what did not work will not work

Thanks for the note about Flash. I looked around for support, but I cannot seem to get it working on the u8350. It installs, but even after a reboot, no sites recognize the flash installation. In fact I cannot even get the configuration page to work ( native or Dolphin browser).

If I do manage to get Flash working, I will definitely look into using the overclocked kernel.

Cheers

there should be no difference what firmware is used.

white text is a feature, not a bug.

in any case the phone should boot up properly.

try to boot from original boot.img
