I assume that you have pulled the battery and it still wont go past bootscreen?

If so you have two options:

1) return to shop

2) put stock rom on SD card(check flibblesan's pinned topic,"original factory roms")

But my advice if it is a stock phone with no root etc would be return to store, but if that option is not available, then before going into rooting etc,I recommend following flibblesan's instructions which basically will tpt your device to stock.

Good thinking there.....I have spent so much time with clockworkmod on all devices,it slipped my mind that some stock recoveries have options

Yeah that should work assuming its not something else causing problem.

Hes talking about ROM version not the phone. Go to settings>device info> and at the bottom a long row and in the end is the ROM version

Remove battery, wait cca 10s and pull it back - then, hold volume up and then power button, holt both of them till the recovery appears...

i was playing a game called zenonia 4 which i got as a .apk from the internet , only to play it offline ( the game is free on the market). now if i tell vodafone they wont fix it. so i hope if they fix it, they wipe all my apps. rooting android is the way to go, if a phone bricks, its so easy to fix

i am better at dealing with roms and rooting. its just that when a phone manufacterer offers an official update, i like to wait

Thank you everyone that helped me. i am now putting the default rom back onto my device. Whatever day it is, the modaco android users always help. I called vodafone, they could not help me at all. There should be a modaco helpline :D
