Now we've had some nice weather I've realised just how difficult my screen is to read in bright sunshine. I'm due an upgrade in a few weeks and would like a phone that can be used outdoors ! Based on your experiance what would you recommend ? My present phone is an Acer Liquid Metal MT 120

I have moto defy. It is waterproof. For viewing any phones' screen in bright daylight, get another brightness toggle widget that will let you quickly jump to different brightness levels. One that gives you higher than normal setting, & also lower values for night time (saves battery).

I have used rootdim (for rooted phone), they have a similar app called screen dim.

As my experiance apple's iPhone 4 is good for screen.It has a gorgeous screen, a terrific camera.you can easily viewing iphone' screen in bright or dark daylight.
