Help with Wildfire backlight plz

Hey, all was just hoping some kind soul could help me out. I have a water damaged HTC wildfire, repaired by me. It all now works apart the backlight; you can see the display when you shine a torch on it at an angle.
Has any one repaired or can point me in the direction of repairing this?
