Anyone noticed the ICS build over here?

It mentions a U8815V100R001C02B916 build with fingerprint Huawei/U8815/hwu8815:4.0.3/HuaweiU8815C02B916/C02B916:user/ota-rel-keys,release-keys

That's an ICS 4.0.3 release! I tried to find it online of course, but couldn't find it anywhere :(

Maybe one of you is more lucky ;)

good detective work :)

So B916 build could well be the "Fable" ICS then

Where's Kojack when you need him ;)

I think this is a leaked ics build,or even simply a benchmark of what huawei are working on?

If it was leaked ics,we probably would have got wind of it by now.

Obviously I am hoping this is a leaked ics rom and we find it.

dbaseii, that link you have is for the G300 which is also named as u8815.

From that link

android.os.Build.PRODUCT U8815

Sorry dbaseii, I had both links open sorry. The first link points to the u8815, yours to the honor or u8860. Apologies.

Is this why its not leaked,

android.os.Build.HOST huawei-desktop

As it was tested on a desktop, probably on a build emulator if that's possible.

I have noticed the b888 version is numbered in a different format.

Official releases are for example C02B884

leaked version is listed as C185B888.

Would this cause issues with future updating and if so, would build prop edits dupe the update checks?

I'm wondering if the ICS build will show up in the Huawei download database before it gets listed on the support web pages.

The Huawei download page URL's look like this:

http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/downloadCenter.do?method=toDownloadFile&flay=software&softid=NDU5NTa=
The only thing that seems to change between files are the last 4 characters "5NTa".

Is there a shell / perl script that could cycle through all the possible URL's and flag up the ones that contain "U8815" in the html?

In Czech republic is now android roadshow and Huawei sponsoring this event. Biggest question at their stand was when will be ics for g300. And the answer is that the build is done and currently in tests...And that it'll be out max by the end of the July. (don't know if this is for that countries aswell, but we'll see)

Is that the demo build they`re releasing next month or didn't they say?

according the Huawei UK Facebook, we arent getting a "Demo" version here in the UK, a full proper version from what they said.
