On my ZTE BLADE, I have the option to set the 'Prefered network mode' to GSM/WCDMA auto. WCDMA only (my prefered option) or GSM only. Is there a way to achieve this on the G300 (rooted) ?

You can change this in secret menu,cannot remember which one so try both these codes,just type them into dialer.

Nice one thanks :) *#*#4636#*#* brought up this hidden/secret menu. Just curious, any idea as to what the '(PRL)' seen with some of the other options (CDMA, GSM, Etc) stands for ?

Edit: Got it regarding PRL ( I think !)... http://en.wikipedia....ed_Roaming_List

It is best not to mess with settings that you are not sure of,I remember not so long ago someone killed there touchscreen messing with secret settings.

With this menu why not test flash with ics for the c8812 and then change it to gsm instead of cdma...?
