I've noticed lately that quite often when you quote a message to reply then the quoted text comes out as gobbledygook.

An example is the top post on this page by tillaz:

This is not happening all the time but it is quite regularly. The preview can look fine before you post but then appear like this afterwards. If you notice this has happened then just editting your post and then immediately saving again without changing anything will put it right.

I think it happens when you quote a post containing a smiley.
