Sorry for the inconvenience then...as I said I didnt tried myself as I dont have the G300 anymore...

But as far as I can understand from the google translation there's an important remark before trying to install this rom and is to install the official Huawei ICS rom first... I guess that if your previous ROM was Gingerbread then it wont work. I'm sorry to not be able to help you more.

It's ok we are all here to try and experiment... Anyway I don't see why we should install first the official Huawei ICS rom. This ROM is ZIP file not the official UPDATE.APP which should be installed by renaming it to update.zip then :

1-WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET

2-WIPE CACHE PARTITION

3-MOUNTS & STORAGE > FORMATE SYSTEM

4-ADVANCED > WIPE DALVIK CACHE

5-ADVANCED >WIPE BATTERY STATS

Then apply update.zip to install it.

Don't worry now I had a backup and my phone is back to the best ROM so far which is AtomicMod Gingerbread. Regards all the best

It's ok we are all here to try and experiment... Anyway I don't see why we should install first the official Huawei ICS rom. This ROM is ZIP file not the official UPDATE.APP which should be installed by renaming it to update.zip then :

The official ICS update updates the firmware/drivers in a way a CWM ROM cannot do. Thus official update must be done first before any ROM modified from the official ICS will work. This has been discussed at great length in various threads - which should be read before any attempt to update to Huawei ICS. Especially the warning about backing up IMEI in case you need to revert back down.

You do realise this rom uses a different baseband than that of Gingerbread based roms and hence won't work without having first installed official ICS via Update.app?

To state this is a joke and waste of time is rather harsh considering the time and effort a dev would have put into releasing this to increase choice for end users whether its to our taste or otherwise.

Im sure devs have feelings too :)
