This might be interesting not just for TouchPal but also for other apps that cannot be removed as a general tutorial.
I am on B888, rooted. I tried ROMToolbox, says it uninstalled touchpal but it is still there.
I tried Root Uninstal, Astro File Manager, Super Manager, and a lot of others. Nothing works. Tried to manually delete files but also failed, “File couldn’t be deleted, try again later". The files are located in /cust/normal/europe/app. Astro File Manager reports that permissions for /cust are dr-, so writing is not allowed if my linux knowledge serves me right?
I suspect it is something very simple, but can't figure out what.
Any help would be appreciated. I have access to adb shell but do not know the commands needed, maybe some folders need to allow for write access?
