My battery life indicator seems to have a life of its own. within 2-3 hours on standby it drops to about 70%. with an hour or so of gaming or streaming I get the warning about battery being under 30%. The funny thing is I can get at least another couple of hours streaming before it complains again. also when I charge it the level jumps dramatically. I drained it to nearly empty and within 10 minutes of it being plugged in it said 66% and was fully charged within an hour. it is getting annoying as I have no idea how much charge is actually in the damn thing compared to what it is telling me. it has been like this from new and is the same across roms. anyone got any ideas? should I try a new battery or does it sound like a more serious problem? any help would be greatly appreciated

there is a bug in the battery monitor,  check your battery graph for proof.
The phone has fast recharge, 2 hour charge time and when the light goes green,  its still not fully charged and will only be at approx 92% so don't rely on that as a full charge indicator
