Long story short, My phone's framework-res.apk got corrupted because of an app I tried.. It won't boot and I've tried replacing it through adb and ddms to no avail. I also tried reinstalling the latest B892 .zip because it contains the frameworks.. This didn't work either so I tried downloading the B885 stock rom from Huawei which just fails straight away Anyone have any ideas? Would installing ICS fix it? I've been looking an excuse to install it but haven't been able to pluck up the courage to yet :L

Idea - Has anyone got (or could make me) a backup of a B892 stock rom? It would probably work. I'd be eternally grateful?

run the u8815 middle update.app then install official b8xx i.e b892

Whats the middle update.app? All I can find rom wise is the V100R001C02B885 stock Vodafone one, Will this work even though I've updated to B888 then to B892? The phones been sitting off for 20 minutes and just turned it self on! For absolutely no reason! Thanks

Never mind! I tried the downgrade tool you posted the other day and got a happy green tick! Then flashed B885 so I'm updating to B892 then I'm going to restore my data from CWM Thanks again
