Has anyone managed to change the image/logo during the initial boot on B926? It currently has that ugly Chinese telecom logo which seems a real pain to remove.

I have tried a number of methods but none seem to change it. I have looked through various system folders, the image does not appear in the usual locations.

Thanks.

I was stuck on that horrible chinese logo for ages and the only way I managed to change it was to install this ROM: http://www.modaco.co...t-updated-0407/ and then once I had that ROM on and USB debug enabled I used this tool: http://www.modaco.co...t-updated-0907/ to change the splash logo.

After this is done you can go to any ROM and keep the custom logo you changed to. I just changed the logo and then went straight back to the nandroid backup of my old ROM.

If you appreciate my work and would like to buy me a beer

Have you tried this thread?  The tool worked for me on B926.  Nothing more complicated than flashing a simple .zip via CWM.
