JoyOS 1.2.2

CM7.2 ROM based

*0.1 current version*

Before ROM install:

1. Wipe data/factory reset

2. Wipe dalvik Cache

* Versions of CM 7.2 could be compatible but not tested*

*Based on UK Android 2.1 partition layout*

ROM is based on Huawei C8650 JoyOS 1.2.2 version with kernel and structure from CM 7.2

ROM is UltraFast and snappy!!!

Working

Data (2G/3G)
GPS
Bluetooth
Swap
Camera (Video/Cam)
Hardware buttons (even the camera)
Working recovery shortcut from power menu

Not Working

Wifi -  I think the problem is related due to kernel (boot.img) which doesn't "trigger" right (eth0->build.prop)

Testing Wifi variables, hope it will be resolved upto beta version.

Currently in deodexing LewaOS and porting it, after finishing will check if the wifi issue also appears and will post results.

CPU OC (691 or 710 Mhz-depending on what you phone can take)+task killer (min mem free+kill background processes)) and then should work, I can play on u8220 with that setup quite fast.

Can you post your findings (is there something else which is not working) or your satisfaction with the ROM?

I forgot to insert a poll in topic for speed, compatibility (market, apps) and which ROM should I try to port next (LewaOS, MokeeOS - not sure if I can port it, but I can try )

Are any of the other common Pulse ROM problems present, i.e. can't be heard on phone calls, reboot on SMS receive, low volume problems?

If calls, SMS and wifi working I might give it a joust. Is tethering built into the ROM if you get wifi working?

Calls work normally for me and SMS also, no low volume problems.

Wifi still a problem.

If you can, please Correct statusbar as it has done in my joyOS 1.1.4. It's more similar to iOS.

This Rom is the best one, problem is only the Wifi. When the fix is out .

Thank you for your opinion... I am currently testing boot.img's so hopefully even WiFi will be functional soon.
