Your brothers mate didn't restore the MAC Address, which is unique identifier for every wireless device. yours is 11:22:33:44:55:66

So how do I restore it?

Do you have the box? It should say the MAC Add on a sticker on the side...

I'm pretty sure your MAC is causing the problems. You'll need to follow this tutorial, but you'll also need stock recovery...not clockworkmod...

If I were you I'd hope your brothers mate still has the QCN file.

The question here is what does CM9 display as your MAC address? Note if down if it's not 11:22:33:44:55:66 as you'll need it.

Heres a temp fix:

How to get your mac address back after rooting even if u did not wright it down before rooting and u don't need to hook up to pc right step 1 go on market search and look for (es file explorer) install open and go to settings grant it root access and grant wright data then still in settings set home directory as (/) right go out of settings and go to (/system/etc/nv_4319.txt) open with es note editor scroll down until u find #macaddr=(your mac address) and underneath that is macaddr=11:22:33:44:55:66 change this to your mac address exit save and that's it

Heres how you permanently fix it:

http://www.modaco.co...-tutorial-here/

If you don't know what your MAC is then try the temp fix first and set it to B4:B3:62:C4:82:00 or B4:B3:62:14:61:64. And if both fail then find out your bluetooth MAC address and if you're lucky it can be calculated from that.

By the way, to view your bluetooth and WiFi MAC address go to settings, about phone and click status. You must have bluetooth enabled for the MAC address to be displayed.

All GIngerbread ROMs are good for gaming. Look at H3 Blues or Mokee, instead.
