Guest Bucks Flyer
I'm hoping someone will find 2 minutes to advise a newbie. I have a brand new out of the box G300 that I will use with Giff Gaff, I have unlocked it and don't want to do anything technical or particularly clever with it but I would like to 1. Fix the loudspeaker issue 2. Remove the Voda bloatware and perhaps apps such as Facebook and Twitter 3. Make any other changes people think advisable. What procedures in what order should I undertake ? (I'll look up how to do them on the forum Many thanks,
Guest Cyda
Get all the OTA updates as these fix the loudspeaker and a few other things. Then if it was mine I would upgrade to B926 (see sticky) to get the HSPA:11 support and then install either Infusion b934 or the stock ICS b934. Guest mr.twad
Yeah the OTA updates will take care of the speaker issue. I would also agree with the upgrades Cyda suggests however they can be a bit hairy at times if you dont know what your doing and aren't good at thoroughly reading and following directions. If you want to get rid of the bloat the very least your going to have to do is root and get a root uninstaller or app that freezes apps. I did this with my blade for a while when I first got it (back in the day) but did eventually take the plunge and never looked back.

Won't the B926 or B394 fix the speaker problem anyway without the need to OTA?
