What's so problematic with apparently perfect MIUI features?

Although I am currently using Tillaz' Infusion ROM in its latest reincarnation, I am a fan of all the goodies that come bundled with MIUI. Yes, the MIUI launcher is sluggish and annoying, BUT you are always free to install, as I have done, a different launcher. You are then left with the rest of the amazing features that are beautiful and very practical and make your phone a joy to use.

Specific and clear examples of the sort of usability enhancements I'm talking about are:

Direct easy access from the phone app itself to note taking or sound recorder, clearing memory option after holding the home key, timer and stopwatch options within clock/alarm app, easy to take screenshot by just pressing menu + down volume, LED flashlight accessible From Lock screen! by holding the home key, brilliant control buttons in notification bar and gorgeous music app, as are all MIUI apps and theming. I could continue.

Unfortunately, the last version of MIUI available for our G300 is based on a now old Chinese stock and is frustratingly unusable.

My dream ROM would be MIUI based on latest UK or European stock (possibly, or whatever else is snappier) and have a partition swap also to use the internal 2GB as data partition.

What's the take of the devs on this? And of everyone else?

Problem is a fully working MIUI would need a fully working cm base. And everyone wants to be up to date. Once Cm10 is fully working then maybe a dev would take the time to make a decent MIUI port.

If you have a huge issue with that then your best option is to buy a MIUI supported device.

So why would it need to be based on CM instead of Stock?

And why CM10 instead of 9? Other than Google Now, which has been already successfully ported to ICS, I know of no other advantages for JB.

B926 is the only ICS Stock rom released from Huawei, so by now is the latest.

B927 or B934 weren't released from Huawei so there is not a UK or European stock ROM really.

Regards.
