I've installed Android ICS 4.0.3 Stock B934 but i have a question about RAM.

post-987237-0-56588400-1345556100_thumb.

There's 183MB used and 204MB free= 387 MB of ram but our device has got 512MB of RAM!

Where are the other 125MB?

Sorry for my english

That is just your apps, the rest is probably being used by the installed android system.

Try putting some of the apps onto the SD card if you need more apps and space,

some ram is not available to the user space as it is only available to the kernel. in android the kernel processes assign as much ram as they will use in total even if they are not fully utilising it to make sure a ram hungry app cannot malloc too much and cause a segmentation fault when the kernel needs more ram but cannot free it.

We're talking RAM, not ROM or Flash storage.

Your English is fine.

The other 125MB is in use by root/system processes, like Android System, therefore, its not available to user applications because the Kernel requires the memory to function.

There is 512MB there, just not all of it is available to processes in the user space.

It's the same on any phone, but the amount taken varies on the ROM and kernel version, as well as utilisation.

Here's an article on how RAM works in Android, for further information:
