Just got my blade replacement in teh form of a £45 (with topcashback) vivacity.. all rooted etc no prob but i just cannot manage to repartition the fellow. Have spent ages fiddling with it but no combination gets into tpt mode - is there another way to partition without using tpt ? Or perhaps how to get into tpt when the cap buttons dont seem to be active at boot..

Any help mucho appreciado.

I have been wondering this myself, although don't have the tmv to try.

Did you try vol+ and power

Or vol- and vol+ and power

Does it have any other hard keys?

Put the image folder for the tpt files on the sd card and then go to about phone then system update and apply...it will then update using the image folder...just make sure you have the rom on the card you wish to flash...and your backup.of apps etc. Tooo

Yeah, this works fine if it's boot able.

But not so good if phone is half dead

Yep agreed but don't know of another way so lets hope some one else mentions one.... also there is a thread relating to bringing a dead vivacity alive so take a look at that!!!

I have done tpt plenty of times on other devices.. but no combination of keys got me into tpt mode and the rom I put on aokp cm9 and jb cm10 didnt have system update as an option :-/ interesting it does something the blade1 does when you press vol + and vol - on power up it flashes light then dies as if its a short.. no worries tho..

thanks !

Easy solution..backup phone.....flash debranded rom....... tpt via system update.. reflash prefered rom and restore!!!!!!

zte crescent, zte blade ii ( 2 ), orange san fransisco ii ( 2 ), t-mobile vivacity RE - LOCK app ?

Hi there is there not a program which re locks as in the zte blade 1, zte san fransisco 1 see in the following forum http://www.modaco.co...-san-francisco/

- The "Reset Attempts (and Lock)" button will reset the phone's internal idea of how many unlock attempts you have back to the initial 5. It will also put it back in the state where it will prompt for the NCK code when you use a different provider's SIM. This may be useful for putting the phone back to (seemingly) the factory state, or for the reported occasions where interactions with Orange [unblocking a phone?] have reset their end of the network lock [?not sure about this?].

-http://droidgram.com/forum/Unlock-ZTE-Blade-Unlock-Orange-San-Francisco (Changes in v1.3Add unlock reset. Normally you have 5 attempts to unlock your phone. With this feature, you can reset the number of unlock attempts back to 5.)

so can someone tell me if that feature from that app is usable in T-MOBILE VIVACITY if so i will go ahead and unlock , root, debrand , and put oin CFW from this website if not can someone please edit the app and allow it to be used for T-mobile vivacity and if not then i will avoid voiding warranty and lock unlock, debrand and root.
