Thanks, I did the corrections but I'm on my laptop now so I can't compile to see if it works

Here, I've uploaded the device files I use for my rom device_zte_mooncake. It has a few modifications here and there but nothing big, the kernel it uses is my own, based on the sources of my github but with different touchscreen driver and it's for racer1 phones (don't know what Carl is compatible with), it boots out of the box so you can check and compare it with what you're using (if Carl is racer2 like then you'll need to change the kernel to boot)

how to create a proprietary file from my phone and uploaded on github

I'm not sure I follow you, what do you mean exactly?

Carl also has two generations as it shipped with 2.1 and later with 2.2. Mine is Gen2. I've built CWM recovery for it too because the ones for Racer didn't work

Yes, I'm pretty sure they are the same, V852/Dreamer/Freddo/Carl. They all look exactly the same and the specs are the same except the camera

Can you get the kernel config from the stock 2.2 kernel?

Do:
adb pull /proc/config.gz

And attach it here so I can see the differences between mine and yours...
