See http://www.qualcomm.com/sites/default/files/common/snapdragon-specs-06.07.12.pdf MSM7227A 0.8 - 1 Ghz Cortex A5 Adreno 200 So the recommended clock speed is 0.8-1.0 Ghz Some people have reported being able to over-clock to about 1.5Ghz although that is at the extreme end.
