I'm assuming i'm not the only one who has this problem. it seems after data connection has been on for a while, it suddenly dissappears and it won't turn back. The only way to get it back is to reboot the phone.

Is there a fix for this?

There's a thread on XDA about this. Somebody found that if they turned off the data usage limits then the problem went away, and doing that stopped the problem for me.
