Really new to this have not used forums so would appreciate some help. Followed the rooting instructions didnt get a prompt to recover, pulled battery the booted into recovery got dos screen then restarted found superuser icon, no apps present. If the phone is rooted how do I know and if so how do I remove the vodafone dross.

well you have to install the rooted apps yourself. Superuser is just a way of apps to communicate with system files. Also post on the proper huawei ascend forum section and you will get more help there. http://www.modaco.co...-g300modacocom/

Can someone help? I want to restore my phone to the stock rom but it won't let me it just says update failed.
