"How-to" install

• Download the ROM, and some addons, if you want (read description)
  
• Reboot to recovery (TWRP preferred ! CWM can cause bugs)
  
• Optional step if already done : Create sd-ext2/4 partition and a swap partition (128-256MB)
  
• IMPORTANT : Do a Factory reset (Wipe sd-ext, data, cache, dalvik, AND System !)
  
• Flash ROM file, then addons if any.
  
• Read output
  
• Reboot

Notes and Tweaks

Notes :

- Upon first start, configure App2SD : Open LiquidParts, App2SD tab, click format and reboot when asked. After rebooting, return in the same tab,
  then check "A2SD" (minimal A2SD, you can check other boxes if you want to port more things to SD)

- Upon second start (or more), you'll see widgets with a little green "download", theses widgets are not included because they are heavy and they
   consume RAM.
   These widgets are just samples, to remove them, long press on them a move them up to the bin.
   There are also some "fake" apps in the app drawer : Appcenter, Gamezone, go store, go locker, go themes and go widgets.
   Long press on one then delete them with the red cross box.
   OR, you can install them...

Tweaks :


- To capture a video with more FPS, lock the Liquid @920MHz, or even @998Mhz. Above 998Mhz is bit more complicated, should play with SVS.

- In "Liquid Parts", App2SD tab :

• SDCard ReadHead : Change to 2048.
  
• Swappiness : Change to 20, moreless, if needed. Best is to uncheck "Swap" box (disable Swap).

- In "CyanogenMod settings/Performance/CPU Settings/avaliable governors", Choose : smartassV2. And chang freq. if you want.
DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING MORE IN "CyanogenMod settings/Performance", IT'S ALREADY SET AT BEST.

TWRP for Liquid A1/E :

Install it via GooManager app (http://goo.im/devs/s...nager_2.1.2.apk).

• Users with CM9 or CM7.2 or MIUI v4

• Download GooManager [Market] (or .apk above) and open it.

• Click menu button, and select "Install OpenRecoveryScript" and answer yes to the questions.

• Wait for installation end. You've touch recovery automatically working

For CM9, it takes some time, some of us are studying, respect them I made one, currently working on it. It works for the moment.
For TWRP, thepasto is working on a new version. See tomorrow.

No, because currently it has too much frezees. Phone stop working and must pull out the battery. It boots, It works, but it froze too !

i've fixed a huge memory leak occupied by wrong sizes of PMEM and ADSP now i have 213 mb of ram instead of 188. i must test this patch also on ics (i don't explain why we have only 162mb). also i've fixed problems of a2sd now it works. also add in your device/acerblabla/prebuilt/init.salsa.rc these lines to enable ksm

of course i could also make an updated version of cm7.2 if for ainilla is ok after that...i will start the develop on cm9. i want to use my kernel patches and see if now we are bug free. the huge memory leak founded  could be a reason of insane freezing of a1

You need to download Root explorer, to access /system/media. Now all you have to do is to change the bootanimation.zip file with your custom animation.
