Amazon yesterday announced the release of their cloud based music player (and buying model) in the UK.

Cloud Player is a digital music player and storage service that means you can enjoy your music collection wherever you are. Cloud Player is available for your web browser' date= iPhone and Android phone and is fully integrated into the all-new Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD, pre-ordering now in the UK.

As a tempter, they are offering over 600 albums for just 99p with a one-off discount code: :P

To celebrate the launch of Cloud Player' date=' we've got hundreds of albums under £4 by essential artists, and with the code CLOUD99P you can pick one up for just 99p. Find an album you like from the selection, then click "Redeem a gift card or promotion code & view balance" under the "Buy MP3 album with 1-click" button[/quote']

Follow this link to get your 99p album: Amazon MP3

The album then goes straight into your on-line collection and is also available for download to your device(s)..... of which you can have 10 (TEN) authorised at any one time.

With the new Kindle range coming to UK shortly it make sense that Amazon bring their music service to these shores. It's now 10 months since "Google Music" launched over in the US, but we appear to be no nearer a UK release. Amazon's swift move can only hurry things along surely?
