The Facebook application for Android has just been updated with some much needed user interface and stability improvements.
The big UI change is the new button in the upper right corner of the News Feed. This button shows which of your friends are available to message and shows who is on a mobile device as well. The actual messaging section of the application has been redisigned and has a new UI for conversations too.
The News Feed also has new options to be sorted in the left hand side menu, so you can organise it around your "groups" (that's "circles" in Google Plus speak).
As well as the UI changes, the update to the Facebook application brings stability improvements that allegedly improve security and reliability, fix bugs with multiple photo selections and push notifications.
Let us know how you get on with the improved Facebook application in the comments below, as a comment to the link on the Facebook or on Google Plus.
