[Applefruit500]

How do I make and edit a ROM? Do I just open an existing ROM in Notepad and start coding or is there a certain program I need to use?

what exactly you want to do?
You can use Notepad++ for editting for example build.prop or updater-script.

Just edit it in general. Change design, add more features and default applications etc.

no doubt stupid question but anyone know where the wallpaper is kept in the rom?

Its usually an apk. And the default wallpaper of the rm is held in the framework-res.apk.

Cm9 and cm10 . Not from source! Will take too long dazz is working on that. I'm using mixtures s1 nexus etc. Cm10 boot problem will look into tomorrow I'm surw it has something ti do with hardware directory.

Yh it did. I will need to add new cm components. Theme chooser now works. But does fc sometimes ?
