You know some Saturday evenings, you just can’t make Match of the Day at 10:30pm - cue using SKY+ or catching the early Sunday morning re-run. But there is an alternative; the “ESPN Goals” App from the Play Store: ESPN Goals at the Play Store The good news is that you can see the goals from the 3pm games pretty quickly. The entry on Google Play says from 5:15 onwards, but this weekend they were a little late and landed around 5:40pm. I’ve got installed it on my Galaxy Nexus as the quality is pretty good, albeit with a 10 second advert before each match. Whilst you can’t directly download the app onto a Nexus 7 from the Play Store, it does work sideloading the apk. Again, the quality is pretty good.
