Anyone found a good app for one Android device to become the keyboard / mouse for another?  Would like to control my UG802 using my SG2 or even Transformer Prime.

Finally found one a friend recommended: DroidMote
Most of the ones I've found so far have been Android to PC or PC to Android, but not Android to Android.

Edit:  Can't install the server on the UG802 I have for some reason (store won't show it as a compatible device for some reason).

However have managed to get a Windows IR remote working on it fine (USB IR receiver).

Hmmm, doesn't show compatible for me either. I imagine it'd work if sideloaded though!

Haven't got my dongle yet, but is this the uinput issue discussed on the 'finless bob' ROM thread, there seems to be a debate about whether it is included in the 1.4 version?

How can you sideload a paid for app?

Every app downloaded on one of you devices shows up in "my apps" in the play store. Simply buy the app on another device with your account and then install it on your ug802. Simple as that. Same for all other apps, like netflix and hulu.

Did you have to do anything to get the windows remote to work?  I have a Windows XP Media Center Edition USB IR keyboard I want to use.

I just plugged it in, and it worked.  Some of the app-loading keys did odd things, but the mouse and Start / Stop / Forward / etc. buttons worked perfectly for me.

i've got droidmote working, but the controls don't match up to a touchscreen pending my learning about it some more, and of course you need to use a mouse etc to get the server up and running in the first place
