I'm trying Miui v4 for curiosity, IT'S FANTASTIC, awesome graphics, very beautiful..for now don't seems too slow compared to CM9, and if Master_T put the improvements of CM9 rebase it's would be perfect.
Edit: There are language pack for this rom (i'm italian)?

Well, I managed to fix almost all bugs. (only things still not working that I can see are leds and usb storage, I'll have to look into that)
The main problem is that the rom, while working, is VERY slow/laggy, at least on the A1. I don't know if something can be done about that, the thing is that MIUI as always been slower than CM, and I don't think we can change that. Maybe it will be faster on LiquidE.

This is one of the TODO items in cm9 that I want to look at after completing the camera project that I have undertaken.

For the LED issue take a look at http://www.modaco.co...60#entry2038474

Actually I think the LEDs don't work properly only because in this base MIUIv4 the menu to set the leds colours is hidden, so we can't configure it. It's just a matter of decompiling the settings app and activating the menu, i didn't do it because I was lazy and the rom wasn't usable anyway...
Also, USB via MTP may also work I think, it just doesn't on my PC because I have windows8 and there are no drivers.

I'm uploading an alpha 0.2, rebased on 4pda.ru repack. Will post link as soon as upload finishes. Please note that I have NOT tested this ROM, so please give feedback.
Also, keep in mind that it may very well have the same performance as 0.1, since I have no idea if the optimizations made by 4pda are at kernel level or at framework level.

I hope you also should try this rom because, it will have lesser lags than previous, but its your choice.

As far as i read the 4pda forum page on google chrome after translation, i think the optimizations are also based on system lib files. I mean the optimizations could be based on other things like kernel or framework, but as far as i read Honor32 used some library files from Nexus to speed up the ui in the rom.

Thanks Master_T for the update
the rom looks great, animation in opening and auto rotating apps got smooth.
but after installing the rom- i installed and used apps for a while and after some time the apps started force closing, every installed app by me gets force closed, i can't use any app.
MTP not working i mean no usb storage.
The Miui surely looks cooler than Cyanogen, hope you can some how seek help from Lens_Flare and try porting CM7.2

The FC probably happens because MIUI eats a lot of ram and there is little of that to go around, at least on the A1. Do you have swap partition? Would be nice to have a logcat of when the apps start FCing to see what's happening.
Since the ROM at least boots, I've added it to first post.

Yes i have swap partition.
When i installed the rom i installed a app and used it.
But later the app stopped working, i think the app is not even launching, it is crashing even before it starts launching.
Sorry unable to get logcat, hope the above helps.
The rom boots great and work good too, and it maybe like miui is taking too much memory so it won't let the apps launch which are demanding more ram then available. i saw running services menu and it had 25 mb ram free, i can increase free ram but for that i have to remove or freeze some apps, i use lnik2sd for this but i can't use it too.

That is weird, almost sounds like the dalvik-cache is corrupted. Can you try to wipe all and reflash?
Sorry I can't test anything, but I'm currently developing an app for a university project and I need a stable rom to work on it.

I flashed cm9 again for continuing app development.
Its festive season here, so i can't test it in detail, i will re-flash the rom after 2 days and will try to test it in every possible way. Sorry till then. Good luck with app development.

Firstly
Great ROM
Just Grea, so thank you very much
I also wanted to know how to get int2ext+ working with this ROM, it works on the first reboot but after that it just stays stuck on the bootscreen.
Any suggestions?

Glad you like the rom. Sorry but I don't even know what int2ext+ is
A logcat taken around the point where the boot hangs may be useful tho.
