Mine is like that on my Samsung TV until I set it to 'Just Scan' rather than 16:9 or whatever...

Tried mine on all modes on a 40" Panasonic and it still cuts some off. It has auto is that supposed to be "just scan"? Stupid tv ha ha. It looks good though.

Mine is 40inch too, looks great playing modern combat 2, Asphalt 6. Just this morning I player speedx 3D and supersonic HD, they both look crazy on 40inch lol

Didn't think so, so it doesn't have a just scan option. Oh well!

For all them that want to experience the osd on tv then here's a cheap micro hdmi i found on ebay, ok its only 2 metres long but for 99p & free delivery you cant go wrong !

Basically I have my pc which has no hdmi output(have 40inch tv in other room that does

) but obviously it has a vga output on the pc monitor. It looks like it should do the job.

Dont see why it would not work as vga supports 1080p anyway

Although no audio !

It works with a £10 5m cable off amazon on my old 40" Samsung. Bit slow when typing in youtube searchbar on default browser though (on the phone not on the tv).

Anyone thinking of buying the micro hdmi cable for the phone ?

I got one today and i gotta say the picture quality is stunning . just plug in and it works .

Don't be taken in with all guff about more expensive cables being better, as long as your cheapie cable is of decent construction and shielded there will be zero difference in picture and sound quality with digital cables, they will either work or they wont.
