Hi there!

I have been running Infusion after different upgrades and various ICS Roms. The truth is I don't like any of them. Anyway, I have downgraded to GB 895 and then OTA to 892. However, the touch screen is sluggish and I can not even move apps to the bin because It doesn't let me go past an area in the screen. Even the lock screen is a struggle to move the centre to the sides. I don't know if that is a hardware problem or something to do with installing so many Roms and playing around with different versions. My wife also has got another handset and hers is fully working. We both run the same version now 892. Can I copy the internal folder and SD folder of my wife's phone and transfer it to my device to make an exact copy of the other handset?

Thank you guys

you could try that.or you could make a backup with the other mobile, just wipe factory in clockwork ,then make a backup and copy it to your mobile then use clockwork to restore and that should do it.

Returned my first phone due to that. Battery pull does not fix it nor does update.app flash. I thought it may have been something to do with cwm recovery but in the end, it looked like it was a hardware issue, The Huawei lock screen is also suspected to cause it but im not sure. Most people disable it to be on the safe side

I have tried the app "multitouch visualizer 2" and it has confirmed my initial thoughts. When I touch any part in the top half of the screen and move it down it recognizes every movement but stops in the middle of the screen and then carries on again. It is like there was a straight line that goes from left to right that hasn't got any reception to touch and that is why I can not move any apps positioned above the first line of the apps grid to the bin. Also confirmation menus to press "ok" or "cancel" I can not press because it doesn't recognize the touch.

Only when I press really hard in the screen I manage to get some response, but even this is very seldom.

I have seen other threads complaining about what it looks like an air bubble in the screen. Well I also had that a couple of times after having the handset in the pocket but I got rid of it by bending the phone very gently until it disappeared. Do you guys think I might have screwed the phone by doing that?

Finally, I bought the handset in Vodafone shop last May. I have lost the receipt but I have the credit card statement showing the transaction. Can I still take the handset? Will the replace it or will they try to fix it?

Thank you and sorry for such a long post but I think this may help other users.
