Is it me or does anyone else think the network speed is a disgrace on orange ?

I'm in coventry and average around 20 to 30 kb/s download , but between 140 to 160 kb/s upload .

what speeds are people getting around the country ?

Yeah. Orange has always been crap for me. T-Mobile is a bit better but nothing here beats 3 for me. I cannot wait to get an unlock.

Hmm, tried speedtest.net last night at work 3 times on the trot and got :-

Ping......Download...........Upload
97............874....................948
1055........871....................1168
948..........388....................751

All on HSPA according to the notification bar. Make of that lot what you will. This was with Chrome by the way.

Edit :- or HDSPA ? (too many damn standards).

2nd Edit :- I'm in Fife, Scotland by the way, fairly rural.
