Is it me or does anyone else think the network speed is a disgrace on orange ?

I'm in coventry and average around 20 to 30 kb/s download , but between 140 to 160 kb/s upload .

what speeds are people getting around the country ?

central nottingham: Ping 121ms. Download 1385kbps Upload 630kbps. Not seen it faster than this so far. Lowest I've had is Download 484kbps upload 520kbps (?)

Suppose its a wate of time calling into the shop , but this score reminds me of the good old dial up modem

Hmm, tried speedtest.net last night at work 3 times on the trot and got :-

Ping......Download...........Upload

97............874....................948

1055........871....................1168

948..........388....................751

All on HSPA according to the notification bar. Make of that lot what you will. This was with Chrome by the way.

Edit :- or HDSPA ? (too many damn standards).

2nd Edit :- I'm in Fife, Scotland by the way, fairly rural.
