Google has announced that it will be enabling purchase (rather than just rent) of Google Play Movies in 5 countries from today!

The new countries are Canada, UK, France, Spain and Australia. We've spoken about how important the content ecosystem is nowadays and it looks like Google is pushing this aggressively, also announcing that Play Music is coming to a number of European countries.

Fun times!

As an Englishman living in Ireland I get really frustrated by this kinda nonsense
Google makes it very inconvenient to get loads of their stuff - harrumph!
