Hi, hopefully a simple question. Can you rename the backup files giving them a more useful name or do they have to stay in that set format? If you are trying different Roms it would be a lot easier if you could give the backup file a useful name.

Not sure. I just put them in folders inside the backup folder. That should work

pretty sure you can, however I would make a backup you don't really need, rename it and try to restore and see how it goes. bit of a pita but at least you will know 100% that it works.

It used to come up with a crc error when you tried to restore if the name was changed. I guess that's fixed now?

Hi. I had the restore data error when I tried to restore a backup of stock 936 rom. Did not rename. Anyone know how to fix this. Had no luck for a week trying all sorts. Using infusion for now.

Version 6 non touch version. Which one would you recommend? How do you go about changing versions.?

So Frodo if I understand you correctly; you can just change to a different CWM version by flashing a zip with CWM?
