Guest W0jt1
hello. im thinking about osd about my next phone, but i was wondering about windows compability. osd got atom x86, so will it be possible to run normally widows 7 and normal windows apps on it, like netbook? or maybe ubuntu x86 version. is it possible to have full functionality of windows on phone? Guest Simon O
You really want a full Windows desktop on a 4 inch screen? Seriously? And no it won't happen even with the 'unlocked' bootloader. Ubuntu you could possibly do though.
Guest
 well if xp wont run right in dosbox I seriously doubt win7 will, ask rickywyatt, he tried it on his one x too and it took a long time to even boot,
Guest Simon O
Problem with that is the CPU used in the phone doesn't support virtualisation so it'll be really slow even with a native x86 virtual machine app. Ubuntu will be possible though. The Nexus 7 version replaces Android though so I'd like a dual boot.

Guest tilal6991
Probably that's what will eventually happen.
Guest itzram
Guys, What about dual-booting with Windows 7.5/7.8 ? Of course, feasibility when the bootloader is unlocked finally.

Doubtful I'd have thought but since the bootloader IS still locked a moot point. Are there any Intel inside Windows phones?
