Sorry am new to all this phone stuff,before the update of software a few days ago i was able to make a folder on screen and put unwanted icons vodafone etc into.Since update am now unable to work out how to make a folder now to put on screen to place unwanted or little used icons into.Would be grateful of a answer.

I assume you are running ICS? Android 4.0.3 open the app drawer and touch and hold and app and drag it on any other app and it makes a folder
