Using the Huawei tools to revert back to gingerbread relocked my phone? :S

Hi, i've recently restored my phone to stock voda gingerbread. Now the phone is locked to Vodafones network again yet when i put a different sim card in it doesnt ask for an unlock code. Has anyone else suffered the same problem?
